What is Table Terrain by Warmaiden?
Table Terrain by Warmaiden is made from 5mm red oak plywood. Each terrain piece is carefully designed, cut, packaged, and shipped in house by Warmaiden Games & Hobbies. Our first design run featured pieces for sci-fi adventures, battles, and campaigns. This set can be used seamlessly with Star Wars Legion or Warhammer 40K armies. Table Terrain by Warmaiden is committed to providing quality and affordable immersive tabletop gaming products for your next game night.
Why Wood instead of 3D prints?
While 3D-printed terrain can be detailed and hold its own in any miniature wargaming scenario, sanding the print lines is a hassle, and it being plastic, can make painting and finishing the terrain difficult. Additionally, most prints are made with as little infill as possible, which makes the prints unstable if the table is bumped or when trying to move all your B1 battle droids through a tight space for instance.
Table Terrain by Warmaiden is made from durable 5mm hardwood plywood and is the perfect weight to keep it from sliding around the game mat. It is also easy to sand, paint, and can be customized to give each piece its own unique details. Take parts off a Dwelling wall, add a foam detail, and use the extra parts on a Trade Station... the possibilities are endless!
